High Phosphorus Electroless Nickel (11 - 13 % P)
Electroless nickel plating with an higher phosporus content in NiP alloy - so-called High Phos belongs to the applications for the preparation of coatings with an excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility and high adhesion to the surface. Besides that, typical electroless nickel features remain: uniform deposit regardless of workpiece geometry, low friction, high hardness and wear properties. Corrosion resistance of the 25 μm deposition exceeds 1 000 hours in salt spray! So the resistance of these amorphous NiP layers several times exceeds the resistance of common electroless nickel plating with crystallic structure (in comparison to the Low Phos almost 10 times!!!). Regardless the fact it is quite new technology greatly expanding in recent few years, it is already widespread used in the world and Europe in many engineering, constructive and other mechanical branches. Since this is Hi-Tec modern technology the plating in that bath meets all needed ELV and RoHS directive and regulations namely in Cd and Pb restriction of usage. In the year 2009 Barta a Cihlar has become the first company in Czech Republic which implicated this technology to its production and allowed it for the common commercial usage on the market. During up to now experience with HiPhos plating we have grown on knowledge with nickel plating on different substrates such as Fe, Cu and Al alloys and acquired skills enable us to keep our customers' demands and better face up to the eventual problems which might happen.
